Osteoarthritis (OA) is often progressive, painful disease of multifactorial. OA often develops with clear irreversible loss of articular cartilage, exposing the underlying bone, resulting in pain and loss of mobility. cartilage loss is considered permanent because the fixed ineffective and the apparent lack of stem cells / progenitor in the network.

These results may open new avenues of research observed a lack of endogenous repair after injury to the articular cartilage and / or arthritis.
